London family photographer: introducing mummy & me sessions in London

As a London photographer, I thought I’d share my mummy and me sessions in this blog, especially as I’ve had quite a few people enquire about these sessions recently and what they actually entail! While theses sessions aren’t necessarily maternity photographs, they are similar in terms of treasuring the beauty of motherhood in the form of photography.

These mummy and me sessions in London are a celebration of motherhood, and as corny as it sounds, these are images that you will treasure for the years to come - a beautiful keepsake and collection of images with you and your little ones. These are photographs with you (the mother) and your little ones. Motherhood is such a sacred and special thing, and my job is to make sure that your memories with your little ones are meant to last, through the form of mummy and me sessions in London. It is the celebration of the unconditional love our families give us. An extension of our loved ones in the form of photographs.

Whether you wanted these photographs to be taken in your own home as an in-home session or on location, there really is something for everyone. The approach is very candid unobtrusive, and as a London lifestyle photographer, I love that I get to document such precious memories as a living. From moodboards, to styling and location planning, I am here every step of the way to execute the best mummy and me session ever!

I know that inevitably, memories fade over time. It is the course of nature and just the way our brains our built! I see these images as a form of investment - a bit similar to wedding photography: these are images that you’ll see more value in as the years go by.

I had a very sweet client who told me that ‘these are images i’d grab in the event of a fire’ and do you know what? Her words really resonated with me. The photographs from mummy and me sessions are priceless - it isn’t something that can be recreated as the years go by (as much as I’d love to be able to turn back time).

It could be that you and your little ones are doing an activity together, or you’re just hanging out at home, together. Whatever it is, I know that this is the beauty of photography - an opportunity to create beautiful keepsake images for the years to come with your little ones.
