London elopement at Islington Town Hall in the Mayor's Parlour | Dee & Will

Those of you who have been following the blog know that I’m a sucker for photographing London elopements and intimate weddings in London - largely due to the fact I love getting to know every single person on a deeper level. I find that with intimate weddings, everyone that is present plays a huge and vital part in the couple’s lives - I get really emotional thinking about it now!

As a London wedding photographer, I was super stoked when I got to photograph Dee and Will’s intimate wedding at Islington Town Hall on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. They chose to have their London Town Hall wedding in the Mayor’s Parlour suite which seats up to 12 guests - a stunning and classic room for any intimate ceremony in a grand setting.

Whilst waiting for Dee and Will to enter the room for their nuptials, myself and the wedding party had a great time exploring the Mayor’s Parlour (see the cool looking hats later on the blog!). We may or may not have tried out the cool looking Mayor’s robes that were part of the decor. Or not. No one will ever know!

Lots of tears were shed during this London elopement (I can confirm they were happy tears) - I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.

We rounded this London wedding off with some confetti shots outside Islington Town Hall. Whenever I find out there is confetti, the inner 5 year old in me gets really excited. Also because they are super fun and never fail to look amazing in photographs.

As a London wedding photographer, intimate weddings are definitely my favourite thing ever. Here’s to Dee and Will the newlyweds, and here’s to more intimate weddings on the blog in the future. *insert happy dance emoji here*
